School Parliament
In 2021, we have relaunched the School Parliament after the pandemic caused a hiatus. We have already started to plan some exciting projects - watch this space for details.
At St Matthew's CofE Primary School we are passionate about pupil voice and recognise the importance of an effective school parliament which represents the views of all children and supports school improvement and development. They are involved in a variety of projects to improve learning, provision and well-being throughout school.

Our Vision
To help every pupil to lead change in their world, through democracy, hope, courage and respect.
Year 1 - Year 6 who are elected to represent the views of all pupils and to improve the school.
Leadership of the School Parliament is supported by Mrs Shaw .
Activities
For Children In Need 2021, the School Parliament organised some fundraising activities.
We had a non-uniform day with all donated proceeds going to great CIN causes and we held a "Design a Bandana" competition with some fantastic entries across all year groups.
