St Matthew's Our Governors
Our Governing Body is made up of representatives from the Trust, the local community, parents, staff and as ours is a Church of England School, representatives from the Churchand governors co-opted because of their area of expertise.
Governors meet at the school on a number of occasions throughout the year. They also visit the school during the day to meet with the children and help with other areas of school life.
Our Governing Body is an essential part of St Matthew’s. They are involved in helping to improve and sustain school by regulating the curriculum, finance, buildings and staffing amongst other things.
