Year 2
Welcome to Year 2!
We have 2 classes in our year group, they are called 2 Brownlee Brothers and 2 Nicola Adams.
The classes have been named after 3 Yorkshire sports stars.
The Brownlee Brothers are triathletes from Leeds who competed in the Olympics in London 2012 and Rio De Janeiro 2016. Alistair won Gold at both and Jonny got Bronze at London and Silver at Rio, he also competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the mixed relay race where he won Gold.
Can you find any links they had with Bradford?
Nicola Adams is a boxer from Leeds. She also competed in the London 2012 and Rio De Janeiro 2016 Olympics earning a Gold medal at both events.
