Home Learning

Please find ideas of work you can do at home to support your child with their learning.

The number one activity of value is READING! Encourage your child to read frequently, read with your child and sign their school Reading Record regularly. Make sure your child is accessing and reading the books which have been allocated to them on Active Learn. Sign their reading journals for the books they read on Active Learn too! In addition, local libraries offer a FREE sign-up and access to a huge range of books and other resources.

You can use the website below for your child to practise different Maths skills.

The following website has sets of tutorials and resources to use at home with your children for Maths:

For your child's physical wellbeing, check out 'P.E with Joe Wicks' on YouTube where he is starting a live home workout next week every day. There are lots of kids workouts on his YouTube channel too:

Ensure your child is carrying out daily chanting of their times tables to 12 and practising these on the 'PIXL' App.

Weekly activities will be updated for your child on 'Ed Shed' so they can practise maths, spellings and learn new vocabulary.

Challenges are also added weekly on SumDog, there is a leader board so children can compete with pupils in their class!

Ed Shed, PIXL, Active Learn and SumDog are monitored by staff daily so please encourage your children to use these on a daily basis.

Below are packs of resources that you can print out or access online to complete with your child.
